New Medicines Service

When you visit your Doctor and are prescribed a new medication for a long-term condition, you can access free high quality complimentary advice and support from our pharmacist through the New Medicines Service (NMS).

Upon collecting your medication, our Pharmacist will provide detailed instructions on usage, potential side effects, and important counselling points.

After 7 days, the Pharmacist will either schedule a confidential appointment in our consultation room or reach out to you via phone to discuss your medication further.

During these appointments, any concerns you have regarding your medication will be addressed directly by the Pharmacist, who will either provide guidance or refer you back to your Doctor if necessary.
